Dream Gate

The Dream Gate Cenote is located 10 kilometers north of Tulum, one kilometer south of the entrance to the Dos Ojos cenote. It stands out for having the most decorated caverns in the area, also due to halocline; that is, where fresh water mixes with salt water.

It is part of the Sac Actun system, one of the three largest in the world, the maximum depth of this cenote is nine meters and it is one of the most decorated and impressive caverns in the area, so you must have adequate buoyancy, since it is a very delicate environment and the rock formations (stalactites, stalagmites and columns) are very fragile. It has a dome where you can see the roots of the jungle trees that cross the rocks to reach the water, as well as bats and perhaps you will find some of the blind fish that inhabit the place.
